Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden has taken a 16-points lead over President Donald Trump according to the latest EPIC-MRA poll, conducted for the Detroit Free Press.
The poll finds Biden at 55 percent support and Trump at 39 percent.
A whopping 70 percent of Michiganders surveyed said the country is on the wrong track, up from 63 percent in the prior poll. Sixty-one percent also said they have a negative view of Trump, a 5-point increase, while the percentage of those who have a positive view of the president fell from 42 percent to 38 percent, according to the poll.
Trump won Michigan in 2016 by only about 10,000 votes, becoming the first Republican presidential nominee to carry the state since 1988.
The survey was conducted from May 31 to June 4 and has a 4 percentage point margin of error.
